Established in cooperation with the Collegium Helveticum at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and the University of Konstanz, and sponsored by the Kurt Lion Foundation, this International Summer School will convene every year at the Kartause Ittingen monastery in the Swiss Kanton Thurgau, for an in-depth discussion of a chosen aspect of science and its social implications.

The Scientific Director of the School is Professor Rivka Feldhay.
